Fireplace Easel Card & Tutorial

Now for all of those that have been following me for a Christmas or two!! I bet you can guess that where there is a Staircase Card... with Hearth & Home out and in action ... that there would soon be a fireplace card...

And yes you are right ... here is this year's Fireplace Card...
Warmth & Cheer papers... perfect for a cozy feel....

Stockings, rug greeting & NOEL from Hang Your Stocking
And holly garland, skirting board greeting & bow from Holly Berry Happiness.

All laid out on a simple little 14.8cm (about 5 3/4" so you guys in the US would probably be better doing a 5 1/2" card ) Simple Easel Card. Simple little easel card so a simple little card Tutorial for you!

Metric (centimetres version)
1. Cut 2 x A4 Crumb Cake into a 14.8cm x A4 Long piece and a 14.8cm Square piece
2. With A4 Long piece LANDSCAPE. Score at 10.5cm & 21cm
3. Mountain Bone fold the scoreline between the 2 equal sections. Valley Fold other scoreline underneath...

And to decorate...

4.Cut plaid paper (wallpaper) into a 14.3cm Square, herringbone paper (carpet) to 14.3 x 8.2cm
5. Make Hearth & Home Fireplace & Skirting Board (see point 11 and 12 in this Tutorial) - there is actually a die cut fire mantel (top) piece under the holly garland too...
6. Stamp the Holly Berry Happiness garland twice and hand cut ( I used Always Artichoke for the outline and Garden Green for the filler)
7 Stamped and die cut Real Red & Crumb Cake stockings and die cut clear glimmer paper Noel
8 Stamped and punched Real Red bow
US/Imperial (inches) 5 1/2" Square version (Crafter Beware - converted...but not tried and tested!!!)
1. Cut 2 x standard 8 1/2" x 11" Crumb Cake into a 5 1/2" x 11" Long piece and a 5 1/2" Square piece
2. With 5 1/2" x 11" piece LANDSCAPE. Score at 3 3/4" & 7 1/2"
3. Mountain Bone fold the scoreline between the 2 equal sections. Valley Fold other scoreline underneath...

And to decorate...


4.Cut plaid paper (wallpaper) into a 5 1/4" Square, herringbone paper (carpet) to 5 1/4" x 3 1/4"

5. Make Hearth & Home Fireplace & Skirting Board (see point 11 and 12 in this Tutorial) - there is actually a die cut fire mantel (top) piece under the holly garland too...
6. Stamp the Holly Berry Happiness garland twice and hand cut ( I used Always Artichoke for the outline and Garden Green for the filler)
